So here is the deal on how to make a rainbow cake! Im sure you can do these with cupcakes - ive seen it done before.
Here are the steps:
- Mix the cake mix as directed on the box.
- Divide the mix among 6 bowls (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple)
- Add food coloring to each bowl and mix well to incorporate.
then pour the colors in the order you want them into the 'greased' cake pan
